Membership

Membership requirements

MAN follows a structured six-step process for admitting members, beginning with eligibility and ending with inspection and approval confirmation.

Step 1

Confirm eligibility. The prospective member must have a manufacturing plant in Nigeria, manufacture at least one product, be in production, and have products registered with the appropriate regulatory body such as SON or NAFDAC.

Step 2

Make payment for the membership application form. The application form fee is N20,000.00.

Step 3

Fill the application form, upload necessary documents, and save the application.

Step 4

Make payment for annual subscription, levies, and submit the completed membership application.

Step 5

Await schedule of inspection visit from MAN for verification of the manufacturing facility.

Step 6

Await confirmation of approval from MAN after the process is reviewed.

Documents Required

  • Company Certificate of Incorporation.
  • CAC Forms C02 and C07.
  • Certified audited financial statements for the preceding two years, or business plan for new companies.
  • Covering letter on company letterhead applying for MAN membership.

  • Registration Fee: N10,000.00.
  • Annual Subscription.
  • Special Development Levy.
  • Land Use Charge Levy for members in Lagos only: N20,000.00.
  • Buy Made-in-Nigeria Products Advert Levy: N10,000.00.
  • Legal Levy: N10,000.00.
  • AGM Levy: N10,000.00.
