How do I become a member?

You must be a bona fide manufacturer with a factory location, purchase the application form, complete it, submit required documents, and pay entry fees and subscription based on turnover. The branch then inspects the facility and National Council admits or rejects the application.

How long does it take?

The process depends on when the completed application is submitted relative to National Council meetings. Council meets statutorily four times in a fiscal year.

What are the benefits?

Membership gives manufacturers identity, a platform to influence policy, access to business advisory and training, information from government agencies, and opportunities for foreign investor linkages.

What is the registration cost?

The cost varies according to company size and turnover level. The Membership Requirements page lists application fees and selected levies for prospective members.

When is subscription due?

Subscription is paid yearly and falls due on January 1. One subscription runs for one year and elapses on December 31.

How long can registration take?

A complete registration process can take up to four months, depending on document readiness, inspection scheduling, and Council review.

How do we change company name?

Submit the CAC change-of-name certificate and a bank payment teller for certificate re-issuance, with a covering letter to the Association.

How do we replace a representative?

The company should write to withdraw the current representative and introduce the new representative to the Association.
