The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) was established in May 1971 to provide a common voice for manufacturers and a focal point of consultation between industry, government, and the public.
The National Secretariat implements MAN's mandate through professional teams responsible for advocacy, research, member services, sectoral affairs, finance, corporate services, and administration.

The Director-General is the Chief Executive Officer of MAN and Secretary to Council, coordinating the execution of Council directives, policy advocacy, research output, and member-service delivery.
